Single Visit Dentistry

Cad/Cam & Cerec Technology

In the past, most extensive dental restorative methods required multiple visits to the dentist - first to prepare the tooth and place a "temporary", then one or two further visits to fit and permanently cement the final restoration. With CEREC, procedures are done, start to finish, in a single appointment. This allows us to design and mill ceramic restorations on the spot, resulting in time and laboratory cost savings that we pass on to our patients.

Virtual designs and extreme milling precision (within thousands of a millimeter) result in superior strength. A blended, natural appearance with your adjacent teeth can be achieved with the wide variety of tooth colours available in both ceramic and composite blocks.

Our CEREC system can be used to fabricate most dental restorations including crowns, onlays and inlays. This results in greater patient comfort and convenience with only a single visit necessary.

CEREC Benefits

  • Requires only one visit
  • A very cost effective treatment plan
  • Drastically reduced laboratory bills
  • No impressions or temporaries
